Tattoos Are a Sin — No Exceptions

There are preachers today claiming that tattoos “aren’t a sin” as long as the symbol is “Christian” or supposedly glorifies God. Some even argue that getting a cross, a dove, or a Scripture verse inked on your body is holy. This is deception. It’s not biblical truth — it’s human reasoning and emotional thinking.

The Word of God is clear:

“Ye shall not make any cuttings in your flesh for the dead, nor print any marks upon you: I am the LORD.”— Leviticus 19:28 (KJV)

That verse is not unclear, not cultural, not “up for interpretation.” God directly commands His people not to pierce their skin or mark their bodies. Yet many justify their rebellion with their feelings instead of submitting to His Word.

This Is Why the Bible You Read Matters

This is the very reason why it matters what Bible you read. Many modern versions have twisted, diluted, or outright removed words of God — leaving believers with a broken sword in a raging battle. A weak or corrupted foundation can only produce weak and corrupted fruit.

But the King James Bible is God-inspired and preserved, and it equips us with the full, sharp sword of the Spirit.

If you are trying to fight sin, deception, and the enemy with a broken sword, how will you stand? This is why I only teach from the KJV — because God’s Word in its fullness is the only weapon strong enough to pierce lies, cut through deception, and anchor us in unshakable truth.

Symbols Are Not Holy — They Are Satanic

The argument that “Christian symbols” make tattoos acceptable is false. A cross tattoo is still a symbol. And symbols are dangerous because they carry spiritual meaning — often demonic. Satan is the master of symbols, twisting them to deceive. When you tattoo a symbol onto your flesh, you open a spiritual doorway whether you realize it or not.

Rituals of Blood

Tattooing is not just “art.” It involves piercing your skin and shedding blood — which in spiritual reality is a ritual. Blood rituals are connected to witchcraft and pagan practices, not holiness. To take part in this willingly is to participate in something God never asked of you.

Defiling the Temple of God

Your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit (1 Corinthians 6:19–20). Decorating it with ink is defiling it. The world glorifies tattoos as self-expression, but in reality, it is rebellion against the God who created you in His image. You are not your own — you were bought with a price.

The Danger of Teaching Falsehood

Preachers who teach that tattoos are acceptable are not only deceiving themselves, they are deceiving others. Scripture warns:

“My brethren, be not many masters, knowing that we shall receive the greater condemnation.”— James 3:1 (KJV)

Leading God’s children — or even unbelievers — astray with false teaching is deadly serious. Many are not even called by God into ministry but step into it out of their own hurt, pride, or insecurity. Instead of Spirit-led wisdom, they preach out of emotion, rebellion, or unresolved wounds. That is not discernment — that is dangerous.

Accountability in Truth

Fellowship is vital, but it is meant to keep us accountable — to correct and rebuke one another when we stumble. When someone justifies sin, they are tickling ears and feeding the flesh, not guiding people back to God. True accountability points us back to the Word, not to man’s opinion.

The Holy Spirit vs. Human Emotion

We are not called to lean on our own understanding (Proverbs 3:5–6). The Holy Spirit is the one who brings discernment, not our own emotions or feelings in the moment. If your justification for tattoos is “what feels right,” you are already deceived. Satan loves to present excuses for sin to keep you in bondage.

Choose Scripture over feelings.

Choose holiness over compromise.

Choose obedience over rebellion.

Tattoos are not harmless. They are sin, they are spiritual bondage, and they will cost you more than you realize.
